Clean Laptop Keyboard at Home

Image
You might start to notice that you need to put a bit more pressure on the keyboard keys in order to type. This might have been caused due to dust and cotton fibers accumulation underneath. So, to fix it, you need to clean your keyboard. You can either bring it to a repair shop or try it on your own at home. Things that you would require: Rubbing alcohol Cotton swabs A clean microfiber cloth (or any lint-free cloth) Steps to follow: 1. Unplug your keyboard from your desktop or laptop. 2. Turn the keyboard upside down to let any loose debris fall out naturally. If you have a can of compressed air blower, use it to blow loose the remaining debris. 3. Take a cotton swab, dampen it with rubbing alcohol. Make sure it is wet but not dripping. Clean the area around the keys with the swab. Dispose of the swab once it picks enough dirt and then use a new one repeating the same process. 5. Use a toothpick or a tweezer to pull out any stubborn debris from the keyboard. 6. Use a dry lint-free cloth
